Alexis Shaffer has had an outstanding start to her 2017-18 women's basketball season. Through nine games, Shaffer is averaging 15.2 points per game, which ranks 11th in the conference and is shooting a team best 44.7% from the field. She has also corralled a team-high seven double-doubles and her average of 14.1 rebounds per game ranks third in the USCAA.
