Fall Sports Right Around the Corner

Fall Sports Right Around the Corner

As Mont Alto Athletics gears up for the 2016-17 fall sports seasons they have plenty to be excited for. From new administration to returning star athletes the department is the buzz on campus as it looks to start strong from the beginning of the fall schedules to the end of the championship runs. First year Director of Athletics, Staci Brennan looks forward to the fall sports and getting her newly appointed department off to a strong start.

Returning sophomore, PSUAC Golfer of the Year Austin Green looks to defend his PSUAC Championship from last year, and bring home the National Championship as well. Daulton Hershey returns for the Men's Soccer team after being named to the All-Conference team in his freshman season, and spending his summer doing part of his training with the Marine Corps for his OCS.

The Women's Soccer team looks to have a big year from returning PSUAC Player of the Year, Kennedy Guerin in goal again this season. All-Conference players, Taylor Zeiders and Cheyenne Diller also return to the field this season for Mont Alto as they look to put the pressure on the rest of the PSUAC teams for a shot at the conference championship.

The Women's Volleyball team brings back not only All-Conference player Alyssa Booth and standout Alexis Smith, but also adds a new face on the bench with first year head coach, Leah Pongratz. Pongratz brings in a wealth of volleyball knowledge and a few key freshman recruits to help bring Mont Alto volleyball back to the top of the conference.
