MONT ALTO, Pa. – After another successful semester in the classroom, 27 Penn State Mont Alto student-athletes were recognized for their academic prowess by earning spots on the Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Academic Teams as announced by the conference office following the conclusion of the 2019 semester.
The Penn State University Athletic Conference's fall championship sports included men's and women soccer, golf, and volleyball. To earn a place on the PSUAC All-Academic Team, student-athletes must amass a minimum GPA of 3.0 during their semester of competition or own a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.0 or greater and be at least a sophomore in their academic standing.
Six of the department's seven teams posted a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or greater, topped by the cross country program, which amassed a 3.61 GPA.
