Derek Coy (Shippensburg, PA) has been named  USCAA and PSUAC Pitcher of the week.  Coy is a junior pitcher and captain for the Penn State Mont Alto baseball team. The USCAA named him pitcher of the week for his outstanding perfermance during the first competition for the University in years.  Coy recorded an impressive performance against Penn State Brandywine hurling seven innings, striking out eight, while surrendering only two hits and one earned run. A week later, Coy threw a complete game shutout while only giving up 3 hits and striking out 14 in the 9-0 victory over Penn State Scranton, which earned him PSUAC Pitcher of the week.  Mont Alto Baseball is 4-2 in th PSUAC so far this season.
