Mont Alto Baseball Never Stops

Mont Alto Baseball Never Stops

When the USCAA baseball season ended in May, Mont Alto players weren't done.  Or, maybe they needed to prepare for next season already after the unexpected first-round PSUAC playoff loss to Schuylkill.

Either way, a few returning players will be working on their game all summer in different summer leagues around the area.

Alex Cline is playing in the Tidewater Summer League, and the West Shore League consists of 3 Mont Alto players in Cory Chatfield, Brady Barnhart, and Nathan Kulp.

Cline had a season batting average of .391, and added 23 RBI's in only 40 games.  Sophomore transfer, Barnhart had an outstanding year behind the plate committing only 2 errors the entire season.  And, though Chatfield and Kulp as freshman didn't get to play in every contest of the season, they will definitely be productive for the 2016 Mont Alto baseball team during their run at the teams first PSUAC title since 2012.
