Bats Come Alive for the Mont...

After a long stretch of away games to start the season, Mont Alto baseball finally returned home to host Central Penn.  The team didn't dissappoint the home crowd as they put on a hitting clinic for all in attendance.

With 23 runs on 22 hits Mont Alto gave the crowd reason to cheer.  Senior Brady Griest(12) hit his first home run of his collegiate career that happened to be a grand slam in the 2nd inning.  Griest then hit his second home run in the 3rd inning.  Griest ended the game with 4 hits and 7 RBI's.

Clayton Eberhardt(25) went 3 for 5, and added 5 RBI's of his own.  Koby Griest(6), Brady's brother, earned the win from the mound.

Mont Alto starts conference play on Saturday when they travel the Penn State Schuylkill.
