Mont Alto, Pa. – For the second straight year, the Penn State Mont Alto baseball team has advanced to the double elimination portion of the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) Baseball Championships beginning this Sunday, May 7 on the campus of Penn State Worthington Scranton.
Penn State Mont Alto (12-22-1, 6-6 PSUAC) participated in the play-in game and eliminated last year's champion PSU Beaver 9-6 in an extra inning thriller last Friday. The No. 3 seeded Lions in the West Division will take on the No. 1 seed in the East Division, Penn State Brandywine (16-18, 12-3 PSUAC) at 10 a.m.
The four-team, double elimination tournament will be held Sunday, May 7 through Monday, May 8. The winner of the PSUAC Championship will earn an automatic bid to the USCAA Baseball National Championship.

Sunday, May 7

Game 4: 12 p.m.: East- #2 Schuylkill vs. West- #1 DuBois
Game 5: 3 p.m.: Loser of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 4
Game 6: 4 p.m.: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4
Monday, May 7
Game 7: 11 a.m.: SEMIFINALS
Game 8 (If necessary): 1:30 p.m.: Winner of Game 7 vs. Loser of Game 7
