HOW IT HAPPENED

-A Wyatt Kissel sacrifice fly and Caiden Smith RBI base hit pushed Mont Alto in front 2-0 after one inning.

-DuBois rallied back in the third inning with a Brett Beith double and a RBI single from Tyler Yough.

-DuBois broke open the tie in the seventh inning with four runs, capped off by RBI singles from Bryce Dobson and Grant Lilliard.

-Wyatt Kissel plated Sibert on a double in the bottom of the seventh as the Mont Alto comeback effort fell short.

-Cory Lehman helped DuBois get on the board in the top of the first with a RBI double.

-DuBois extended the lead to 4-0 after three runs in the third inning.

-Colby Bodtorf and Brett Beith each provided RBI hits for DuBois as they extended the lead to 8-0 after five innings.

-A Mont Alto error scratched two more DuBois runs across in the sixth inning as DuBois took the game via mercy rule in the sixth inning.
