The Penn State Mont Alto cheerleading squad has named its first cheerleader of the month in 20 months, with freshman Taylor Ramsey (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) taking the honors for November.
"Taylor has already proven to be a strong and dependable addition to our team," said head coach Jennifer Deinlein. "We're still getting our feet back beneath us after a lost season, and Taylor's consistency and confidence has helped lift everyone around her."
The cheerleader of the month is determined by team nominations and goes to a squad member who stands out in her efforts on and off the court.
The Penn State Mont Alto cheerleading squad cheers at all home men's and women's basketball games. They are in action this weekend, with back-to-back doubleheaders Friday and Saturday, before the semester break.
