Penn State Mont Alto Men's Basketball will be hosting their second annual John Benchoff Tournament on Friday November 15th and Saturday November 16th. The Tournament will include Davis College, Penn Highland Community College, Penn State Lehigh Valley and Penn State Mont Alto.
"Davis College out of New York comes down with an impressive roster and an expectation for a solid season," Mont Alto Men's Basketball Head Coach Jack Schenzel comments. "Penn Highland Community College again returns a solid core of players who will allow them to be very competitive in their league and should provide great competition for this tournament. Penn State Lehigh Valley will also be playing in the tournament this year. With their new coaching staff Lehigh Valley has really improved over the last year and the expectation in the league is that they are going to be a force for many years to come," Coach Schenzel adds.
The games start Friday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. with Davis College playing Penn Highlands Community College and then at 8:00 p.m. Penn State Mont Alto will host Penn State Lehigh Valley.
Between the games Friday night we will be honoring the late John Benchoff who is the winningest coach in Mont Alto Basketball history.
Saturday's games will be at 1:00 p.m. for the teams that lose on Friday and 3:00 p.m. for the teams that win Friday night's games.
