The Men's Basketball team remains undefeated in Puerto Rico. They played The University of the Sacred Heart on their home court on Sunday November 24th at 5:00 p.m. Sacred Heart is also a NCAA Division II Athletic Program in Puerto Rico. Mont Alto edged out for the win, defeating Sacred Heart 67-64.
Freshman Jerome Evans (Carlisle, PA/Carlisle) had a stellar game for Mont Alto; Evans had the only double-double of the game. He recorded 18 points with 11 rebounds and was 4 for 4 from the free throw line. Corey Meyers (Greencastle, PA/ Greencastle-Antrim) was strong on defense with six steals.
Mont Alto Men will be heading home Monday after having a successful tournament in Puerto Rico.
