Men's Basketball wins and remains undefeated

Men's Basketball wins and remains undefeated

Men's Basketball wins another PSUAC game on the road and keeps the streak going.  They remain undefeated this season, 9-0 overall and 4-0 in the PSUAC.  An impressive record for the Mont Alto Men's Basketball program so far this year.  They brought home a win against Schuylkill, 99-68.

"It was good to get another win on the road last night, it was a total team effort for us," Head Coach Jack Schenzel comments.  "We had four players in double figures and I was pleased with how we shot the ball as a team.  We were able to execute our offense and come out with a win."

Both Bobby Ingram (Frederick, MD/Tuscarora) and Evan Ehrhart (York, PA/Dover) were leading scorers for Mont Alto with 13 points each.  Corey Meyers (Greencastle, PA/Greencastle-Antrim) and Jeremiah Mitchell (Philadelphia, PA/Delaware Valley) each contributed 12 points.  Meyers was also three for four from the three point line.  The roster all saw several minutes of playing time to secure the win.  Mont Alto's field goal percentage was 66.7%, 56.2% from the three point line and 53.8% from the free throw line.

"We are excited to have Jeremiah back on the court; he made a difference in last night's game, scoring 12 points for us.  Evan came off the bench and was a leading scorer and played very solid," Coach Schenzel adds.

"While Schuylkill's record doesn't reflect it, Coach Williams has been playing very hard and they are going to be a team that will be a lot tougher as the season goes on once they get more experience," Coach Schenzel comments.

The Men's Basketball team will travel to Brandywine on Friday December 13th for 8:00 p.m. game.
