The Penn State Mont Alto Men's Basketball Team will be hosting their 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at Penn National Golf Club in Fayetteville, PA. The tournament will take place on Thursday, September 11th. Registration will start at 11:00 am with a 1:00 pm start time for the tournament. There are also sponsorship opportunities for your business that include signage during the golf tournament as well as yearly banners on campus.
The Men's Basketball team utilizes these funds not only for additional equipment, but mainly for overseas tournaments each year. Head Coach Jack Schenzel believes that trips like these are a valuable asset to the team, bringing the student-athletes closer together while also giving them the experience that not every collegiate athlete gets.
Last season the team was able to travel to Puerto Rico to play in a tournament which they won. The regular season then saw Mont Alto finish 2nd in the PSUAC and 4th in the USCAA.
