The Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference released its season awards on Thursday evening. Penn State Mont Alto senior guard Quintyn Flemister (Harrisburg, Pennsylvania) was named West Division Player of the Year and West Division Defensive Player of the Year. Flemister also won the 2019-20 West Division Player of the Year award, making him the first Penn State Mont Alto basketball player to accomplish such a feat. 

On the season, Flemister averaged 14.9 points per game, 5.3 rebounds per game, 2.9 assists per game and 2.3 steals per game. His constant steady production from the point guard position has helped Penn State Mont Alto to be the most recent #1 team in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association national poll. Late in the season, he accumulated a stretch of ten consecutive double-digit scoring efforts. 

Junior forward Darrius Bush (Martinsburg, West Virginia) joined Flemister on the West Division 1st Team with a strong season for Coach Jack Schenzel. Bush currently leads the team in scoring average with 16.6. He also averages nearly three assists per game and 6.8 rebounds per contest.

Junior guard Cameron Williams (Inwood, West Virginia) was named an honorable mention for his strong season. He is third on the team in scoring with 13.2 PPG. He is a tremendous rebounder for a guard with nearly eight rebounds per game. 

Freshman Ryan Richardson was named the campus receipient for the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award. The award is given to one student-athlete on each sports team that best displays good sportsmanship and demonstrates ethical, appropriate, polite and fair behavior while participating in athletic events and as a member of their team.
