How It Happened

Anthony Davis and Nathan Osei each had 15 points to help Penn State Mont Alto defeat Penn State DuBois on Friday evening by a final of 72-63. Cameron Williams missed a triple-double by a point as he recorded nine points to go along with 16 rebounds and ten assists. 

 

Jaiquil Johnson (14), Beau Verdill (13) and Will Helton (14) each recorded double-digit points for DuBois. Grant Grimaldi and Christopher Frontera each added six.

 

Penn State Mont Alto led at the half 38-34 behind ten points each from Osei and Davis while DuBois got 12 from Helton and nine from Verdill.

 

Penn State DuBois caught fire from deep as they made 10 of their 29 three point attempts for 34%. Penn State Mont Alto on 5 of their 14 attempts (35%). 

 

Mont Alto was able to outshoot DuBois shooting 52.6% compared to 41% from the visitors.
