Mont Alto Golf No.1 in USCAA and PSUAC

After playing in four matches against an average of five teams at a time, Mont Alto Golf is the top seed in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association and the Penn State University Athletic Conference.  With a total of 1247 strokes and an average of 311.8 Mont Alto has a comfortable lead going into the national and conference tournament.

 

For the golf individual USCAA statistics, Mont Alto has two golfers in the top five and four between one and twenty-five.  Freshman Scott Levy claims first place with an average of 75.75 out of 303 stokes in four matches and four rounds.  Following for Mont Alto is team Captain, Dan Zeiders coming in fifth overall with a 77.75 and a total of 311 strokes.  Chris Rhein makes it in the top ten, coming in ninth averaging 78.25 out of 313 strokes.  A freshman, Ariq Mansur from Bangladesh, makes it on the board with 321 strokes and an 80.25 average, placing him at number twenty-one. 

 

The next and final match is October 10-12, 2010 at the Blue Course in State College, PA for the USCAA and PSUAC Championship Tournament.
