Soccer falls to Brandywine

Mont Alto's Soccer team faced a tough Penn State Brandywine team on Tuesday night.  The team fell 7-0 on their home field.  Mont Alto now holds a record of 2-2-0 in the PSUAC.

In the first half, Mont Alto was able to hold Brandywine scoreless in the beginning but then Brandywine scored their first goal and never looked back.

Corey Meyers led the offense with eight shots and four of those on goal. Brandon Angle had three shots on goal but Brandywine's goalkeeper, Nick Previti, was able to block any chances that Mont Alto had.

Jacob Sempowski had many saves in the goal for Mont Alto but Brandywine was able to finish seven shots, one being a penalty kick after there was a foul committed in the penalty box.

Brandywine's Frenc Baro and Jarvis Lynch each recorded a hat trick.  Mike Clapp also added a goal.

Mont Alto will return to action at home on Saturday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m. against Penn College.
