Soccer defeats Schuylkill

 

Penn State Mont Alto's soccer team recorded another conference win on Wednesday when they took on Penn State Schuylkill, 6-2. 

 

Schuylkill started the scoring in the first half when they went up 1-0 in the first 12 minutes of the game.  Aaron Lewis responded with a goal in the 40th minute when he received a cross from Brandon Angle and beat the goalie with a hard shot. 

 

Mont Alto was down 1-2 going into the second half but that did not discourage them.  Mont Alto came out strong for the last 45 minutes where they scored five more goals. Jamaal Carter tied the game up 2-2 early in the second half before Mont Alto ran away with the game.

 

Brandon Angle recorded a goal and three assists, while Alvin Muthoka and Skylar Miller each added a goal.  Lewis ended the day with two goals after he scored the last goal of the match.  Miller also had an assist.
