Mont Alto, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto men's soccer team held the current top PSUAC school Brandywine to two first half goals, but the visitors exploded in the second half handing the Lions a 7-1 conference loss.

Powering Brandywine to victory was freshman forward Chris Reibman who came off the bench to score four goals against Mont Alto.  Riebman is the reigning PSUAC Player of the Week.

Mont Alto scored its lone goal of the match on a clever pass from Skyler Miller (Shippensburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) who found Brendan Shannon (Biglerville, Pa. / Biglerville) in the 18-yard box and rocketed his shot past the Brandywine keeper in the 72nd minute of the match. Freshman goalkeeper Owen Gilbert (Wells Tannery, Pa. / Forbes Road) finished with a game-high seven saves.

Mont Alto fell to 1-10 overall and 1-3 in the PSUAC, but will look to pick up a win tomorrow in a home match against Penn State Schuylkill. Game time is slated for 1 p.m.
