The 2nd game of the PSUAC playoffs for Mont Alto would have them playing host team Beaver. The only 2 runs of the game came early, in the bottom of the 1st, and they belonged to Beaver.
A controversy held up the game for a quite some time as the coaches and officials discussed whether a ball was a ground rule double, or a home run. The home run was awarded to Ashley Watkins after the smoke cleared, which gave Beaver the 2-0 lead.
After that, it was all pitching and fielding to continue the game, with only 11 total hits combined from both teams. With the loss Mont Alto will have to play New Kensington again to make it to the Championship Game, which would be against Beaver.
