Team Tennis defeated Lehigh Valley for their first win of the season. Lehigh Valley took the #1 and #4 men's singles for two points. But Mont Alto's #2 Marcus Folks and #3 William Davis claimed two points as well.
For the women, Annette Deutsch took first in the #1 women's singles and Kathiegong Williams finished first winning the #2 Singles 6-0, 6-0. Deutsch and Williams continue to remain undefeated on the court as partners, winning 6-1, 6-1.
Coach Alan Smith comments, "Our women played exceptionally well against good opponents. All of our men played well but lost several close matches. We continue to improve and our success will be determined by keeping everyone in the line-up."
Mont Alto travels to Brandywine on September 22nd for a 12:00 p.m. match.
