On a sunny, yet chilly day, Penn State Mont Alto's tennis team took on Penn College (6-1 PSUAC) Wednesday afternoon.
The women's side for Mont Alto was very successful, winning both the #1 and #2 singles along with the doubles. Annette Deutsch won the #1 singles, 6-0 and 6-0 against Penn College's Jenna Walmer. Kathiegong Williams, at the #2 spot, also won 6-0 and 6-0 against Taylor Lapointe of Penn College. Deutsch and Williams kept the winning going in the doubles when they won 6-1, 6-2.
Mont Alto's men had a tougher time against a tough Penn College team. All the men fell to their opponents in the singles and doubles matches.
Mont Alto will return home on October 13th to take on Penn State Brandywine at 12:00 p.m.
