The Penn State Mont Alto Lady Lions traveled to Penn State Fayette for their first conference game since December. Mont Alto struggled to handle the full court pressure that Fayette played most of the game. Fayette took the win on their home court.
Mont Alto fell to Fayette early in the game, trailing at halftime 39-18. "We really have to work harder on improving our shooting percentage and reducing our turnovers," Head Coach Donna Davis comments.
Freshman Anna Angle was impressive on the court again for Mont Alto. This was Angle's fourth straight game in double-doubles. She scored 14 points and grabbed 16 rebounds. Freshman Courtney Arnold added 6 points for Mont Alto and sophomore captain Morgan Maslanik pulled down 8 rebounds while Amber Zinobile snagged 7 from under the rim.
Mont Alto ladies are continuing to improve their offense and defense after each game. Their next time on the court will be at Penn State Hazleton, Monday January 16th at 6:00 p.m.
