If you read the stat line of last nights Mont Alto Women's basketball game against Valley Forge University, it would seem that Mont Alto won the game handily.  However, with a few close calls from the officials coming down the stretch the outcome was in the Patriots favor.

Mont Alto's Dori Kozain had 24 points off of a 4 from 5 behind the arc showing, as well as pulling down 11 rebounds.  Point Guard Ashley Madison not only added 10 points to the cause, but had an outstanding 11 assists to help lead her team.

The women shot a wonderful 40% from the 3-point line, but only made it to the charity stripe 7 times the entire game.  The Patriots took it down to the wire, crawling back each time Mont Alto went up, and eventually it paid off.

The Patriots took the game 68-66 despite the aggressive play by the Mont Alto Women.

Mont Alto will be back in action at home on Monday when they host Trinity College at 7:00 pm.
