STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – Penn State Mont Alto sophomore Charity Miller (Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle Antrim) was voted to the All-Penn State University Athletic Conference team as an honorable mention by the league's coaches.

Charity Miller (Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle Antrim) is the lone representative for Mont Alto on the all-conference team as Brittany Jackson from Penn State Beaver was selected as the league's Player of the Year. Kendra Pfeil from Penn State Hazleton was voted Newcomer of the Year, and head coach Larry Johnson from the PSUAC Championship winning squad Penn State Brandywine was voted Coach of the Year from his peers.

Miller finished the 2017-18 as Mont Alto's leading scorer netting 16.8 points per game, which ranked sixth in the PSUAC. The sophomore guard heated up towards the end of the season finishing with 10-straight games with 10 or more points. She was no slouch on the boards either averaging 8.2 rebounds. She finished the season with eight double-doubles.

Miller's efforts helped the Nittany Lions to a 5-18 overall record with the team winning a pair of PSUAC contests against Fayette and Greater Allegheny during the 2017-18 season.

Karley Coleman (Hanover, Pa. / Delone Catholic) was selected as Mont Alto's representative for the John Fritz Sportsmanship Award. Coleman served as the quite leader on and off the court doing a lot of the little things extremely well. She averaged a career-high 5.5 assists per game and also grabbed 5.1 rebounds per game while averaging 7.8 points.

Named after former PSUAC Commissioner John Fritz, the sportsmanship award is given to one player from each team in the league who best displays the core values of the league and sportsmanship to teammates and opponents throughout the season.
