Central Penn 72, Penn State Mont Alto 43

Autumn Fischer led all Penn State Mont Alto scorers with 18 on 50% shooting (7 for 14) as Penn State Mont Alto dropped its first game back on the hardwood in nearly a month. Colette Salyers added seven points, Meagan Smith had six and Sarah Vandersleen scored six. Tahniyaah Jackson went 7 for 11 on the day for Central Penn, scoring 18 points of her own for the Knights.

Central Penn raced out to a 24-4 lead following the first quarter behind 9 of 22 shooting with three makes from distance. Jackson scored a team-high 14 points during the games first ten minutes.

Mont Alto battled back in the second quarter as they were able to trim the deficit to 42-20 at halftime. Fischer went 4 of 6 in the second quarter to score ten points for the Nittany Lions. 

Central Penn used a balanced attack in the second half to win the half 30-23 to win the non-conference tilt by a final of 72-43.
