Penn State Brandywine 90, Penn State Mont Alto 36

Colette Salyers scored nine points and grabbed seven rebounds to pace Mont Alto on Friday evening during their 90-36 conference loss to Penn State Brandywine. Brandywine's Amanda Floyd led all scorers in the contest with 36 points on 13 of 29 shooting.

Brooklyn Merryman converted on a pair of early free throws to cut the Brandywine lead to 12-6 at the halfway point of the first quarter. Brandywine strung together a 9-2 run in the quarter's final minutes to lead 21-8 after one quarter of play. 

In the second quarter, Floyd scored eight consecutive points to push the Brandywine lead to 35-13 with 3:19 remaining in the half. Brandywine led 43-20 at the half behind 23 points from Floyd and 12 points from Kiara Koger. Autumn Fischer scored seven points in the first half to pace the Mont Alto offense on 2 of 7 shooting.

Penn State Brandywine continued its balanced team scoring in the second half with 22 points in the third quarter and 25 in the fourth. Their defense stymied the Mont Alto offense and Mont Alto only scored 19 second half points on 8 of 26 shooting.
