Penn State Mont Alto traveled to their first competition of the season at Virginia Beach Nationals. The team was led by their captains; both Tyler Warner (141) and Clay Kocsis (157) brought home the belt (1st Place). Andrew Mellott (141) placed 2nd; Dale Nichols (197) placed 3rd; Diantra Landry (149), Corey Hardman (184), and Jaron Burke (285) placed 4th; Marquil Holt (285) placed 5th; and Jacob Miller (285) placed 6th. Cody Carbaugh (125), Davon Clark (165), and Quinn Fraseeta (165) also participated. The team placed 2nd with 131.5 points. "Overall we wrestled well, congratulations to those that placed," Head Coach Bruce Kocsis commented.
Mont Alto Wrestling hosts Apprentice on November 8th at 5:00 p.m. for their first home match of the season.
