Mont Alto Wrestling traveled to Greater Allegheny on Tuesday night for a tri-match. For Mont Alto it was a good start competing within the PSUAC. Mont Alto dominated against Greater Allegheny and defeated them 42-3.
When it came time to compete against NCAA DII Seton Hill, Mont Alto was stumped. "We did what we had to do against Greater Allegheny but fell short against Seton Hill," Head Coach Bruce Kocsis comments. "It is hard to compete with NCAA DII programs when you have five starters out of the lineup due to injuries. That is not saying we would have beat Seton Hill but it would have made a closer match."
Overall the last week has been a lot of wrestling for Mont Alto and the coaching staff is excited on the accomplishments of all the wrestlers at this point.
