On Saturday Mont Alto hosted their first quad match with Penn College, Gloucester Community College and UMBC. 

Mont Alto's first match of the day was against Gloucester.  After battling back and forth, Mont Alto fell short by eight points, dropping the match 13-21.  There were no pins recorded and Mont Alto won three out of the ten weight classes. 

The next match was a different story.  Mont Alto came out ready for a victory.  They defeated Penn College 41-12.  It was an impressive start to the match; Mont Alto tallied four pins in a row.  They continued to dominate, winning eight of the eleven weight classes. 

"Saturday's matches went very well," Head Coach Bruce Kocsis comments.  "We showed up to wrestle.  We lost a close one to Gloucester but came back against Penn College.  The entire team wrestled their best on Saturday.  We are peaking at the right time and look forward to the PSUAC/USCAA tournament."
