With five teams in the Holiday Duals held here at Mont Alto on January 10th, the Mont Alto wrestlers showed their strength.  Starting out against Penn State Fayette, the Mont Alto Lions put on a show as they defeated Fayette 33-12.

Up next for Mont Alto was another PSUAC member in Penn State New Kensington.  Mont Alto continued where thay left off with Fayette, downing New Kensington 39-9.

The next opponent proved to be a little more difficult for Mont Alto.  Division 1 Naval Academygave Mont Alto some hard to handle matches.  Though Mont Alto wrestled hard, they couldn't get enough points on the board, eventually losing 29-8.

The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) was up last to face Mont Alto, but Mont Altowasn't going to back down even though they had just lost their first round of the day.  The Mont Alto wrestlers came back with a strong finish, beating UMBC 49-0.
