Last year Mont Alto qualified 10 wrestlers for the NCWA National Tournament. This past weekend was the qualifying event, held at UMBC to see who would be able to move on to the National Tournament this season.
8 Mont Alto Wrestlers qualified for the NCWA National Tournament in Allen, Texas. Despite the many injuries through the season for Mont Alto they pulled through when they needed to the most. The tournament will be held from March 12th-14th.
The qualifiers headed to the NCWA National Tournament are as follows;

149 Tyler Warner
155 Nick Grimm
157 Elijah Harris
165 Clay Kocsis
184 Diantra "Trey" Landry
235 Max Elliott
Clay Kocsis was also named Outstanding Wrestler for the qualifying tournament.
Both Tyler Warner and Kocsis are ranked in the top 10 individually in the country at numbers 8 and 4 respectively. Mont Alto as a team is ranked 2nd in the country in points trailing 1st place Liberty University.
