Dan Bertram Earns First Collegiate Pin As Mont Goes 0-3 at McDaniel Green Terror Duals

WESTMINSTER, Md. – Dan Bertram (Seaford, N.Y. / Seaford) improved to 4-8 overall on the 2017-18 season and earned his first collegiate pin in the Green Terror Duals hosted by McDaniel College on Sunday. Mont Alto fell 59-0 to McDaniel, 57-0 to Gettysburg College and 48-6 to the University of Maryland-Baltimore County.

Bertram was the lone Nittany Lion to score points with his pin over Nathan Abellano of UMBC coming in 4:01. He competes in the 125-pound weight class.

Penn State Mont Alto returns to action on Friday, December 1 when it competes in the two-day Messiah Petrofes Invitational.
