Mont Alto 0-2 at York College Tri-Meet

YORK, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto wrestling team competed at a tri-meet hosted by York College on Saturday and fell to both the Spartans and the Wildcats from Penn College at the M&T Bank Field House. In the opening matchup of the afternoon for the Nittany Lions, the team received forfeit wins from Dan Bertram (Seaford, N.Y. / Seaford) and Lucas Shull (Hanover, Pa. / Delone Catholic) before falling as a team, 36-12. In its second matchup, Mont Alto was swept in each weight division and were defeated 56-0 by York College.

The Penn State Mont Alto wrestling team return to action on Sunday, February 4 in its final home meet of the season. The Nittany Lions are slated to host a quad meet against Penn College of Technology, Pitt-Bradford, Penn State Fayette, and the Penn State University Wrestling Club. The first match of the afternoon is scheduled for 10 a.m.
