MONT ALTO, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto wrestling squad hosted a quartet of schools on Sunday afternoon, the Nittany Lions earned a hard fought 30-27 decision over Pitt-Bradford, dropped a 48-12 team score to Penn College, a 47-12 decision to the Penn State Wrestling Club, and a 36-30 decision to Penn State Fayette.
Freshman Dan Bertram (Seaford, N. Y. / Seaford) had the most success for PSUMA on Sunday earning a pair of pins on the mat to go along with a pair of forfeit victories. Wrestling in the 133-pound weight class, Bertram pinned Aaron Smith from Pitt-Bradford in 2:40 and against John Fedorek from Penn State Fayette he earned another pin this one coming at 125.
