By: Frank Maira, Assistant Director of Athletics/Sports Information Director

MONT ALTO, Pa. – Penn State Mont Alto wrestling head coach Chris Leese has announced the addition of five wrestlers as part of his recruiting class for the 2018-19 season.

"This year's recruiting class is made up of a very accomplished and hardworking group of young men," said Leese. "I'm excited for the upcoming season as I believe this freshman class will bring quality depth and experience to our program."

The new additions to the Mont Alto wrestling team include Mason Blank, Bryce Palamar, Jeremiah Altadonna, Henry "Chase" Walker, Adam Peters, and Mitchell Krcelic.

With the projected return of Dan Bertram (Seaford, N.Y. / Seaford), Lucas Shull (Gettysburg, Pa. / Delone Catholic), Justin Eline (Hanover, Pa. / South Western), and Silas Dishong (Williamsburg, Pa. / Williamsburg) PSUMA will have a solid mix of veterans on the mats as well. The coaching staff is still actively trying to recruit a 235 and 285-pound wrestler to complete the lineup.

PSUMA finished the 2017-18 season with a 3-13 overall record in duals and placed 12th at the NCWA Mideast Conference Championships.
