Women's Soccer: Penn State Mont Alto 12, Penn State Hazleton 0
MONT ALTO, Pa.- Eight different Mont Alto players found the back of the net as Mont Alto women's soccer cruised to a 12-0 win over Penn State Hazleton in PSUAC action on Saturday. Saturday's contest was the Pink Out game for the team and senior day as four seniors (Madison Eberly, Sophie Bowersox, Alexis Mariano, Sydney Allison) were recognized prior to the contest.
Mont Alto kept the offensive pressure on in the first half, registering 44 shots to Hazleton's two and leading the contest 4-0 at the break. Mont Alto eclipsed 39 more shots in the second half and scored eight goals on their way to a 12-0 victory.
Kaylen Gracey, Alexis Doyle, Grace Lochner and Cameron Dillow each recorded two goals. Brooklynn Fretwell preserved the shut out for Mont Alto stopping her only shot on goal faced.
