Penn State Mont Alto Women's Volleyball team will be hosting their second annual DIG PINK event on Thursday October 14th against Penn State York for a 7:00 p.m. match.  Dig Pink is a National Breast Cancer awareness rally that is taking place throughout the month of October 2010 through The Side-Out Foundation. High Schools and Colleges are hosting Dig Pink matches all across the country to educate and raise funds to help fight breast cancer. Wear something PINK and show your support!

We are teaming up with The Side-Out Foundation to raise money for the fight against breast cancer.  The Side-Out Foundation (Side-Out) was established in 2004 by a group of individuals drawn together by their love of volleyball, but who also share a similar passion to be a part of the war against breast cancer.  Side-Out's mission is to raise money for the war against breast cancer through the recreational activity of volleyball.  The Side-Out Foundation is a Virginia based 501 (c)3 Non-Profit organization with a serving Board of Directors and advisors from the healthcare sector to provide oversight and guidance regarding the strategic direction and recommended allocation of donations and grants.

The event will include pink t-shirt sales, raffles, silent auction, serve-a-thon, free giveaways and much more!  We encourage everyone to come out and support Mont Alto Volleyball and the fight against breast cancer.
