LEMONT FURNACE, Pa. – The Penn State Mont Alto women's volleyball team won all four matches that it competed in at the PSUAC Crossover Weekend, which was hosted by Penn State Fayette on Saturday and Sunday.

- Mont Alto defeated PSU Lehigh Valley 25-14, 25-9, 25-17.
- Mont Alto defeated PSU Brandywine 25-23, 13-25, 23-25, 25-18, 15-7
- Mont Alto defeated PSU Wilkes-Barre 25-10, 25-22, 25-8
- Mont Alto defeated PSU Scranton 25-10, 25-16, 25-12
Mont Alto 3, Lehigh Valley 0
- Courtney Stump (Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle Antrim) led all attackers with 14 kills as she also had a .591 kill percentage and a match-high six aces. Fellow captain Katie Muse (Hagerstown, Md. / Boonsboro) has 26 assists, four aces and six digs.
- Ebony Sanders was the most successful hitter for Lehigh Valley finishing with four kills on 18 attempts.
Mont Alto 3, Brandywine 2
- Brandywine owned a 2-1 lead against Mont Alto, but Mont Alto dug in and railed to win the final two frames to earn the decisive five set victory.
- Mont Alto connected on 50 kills and had six service aces. Defensively, PSUMA had 59 digs with freshman Melanie Tracey (York, Pa. Dallastown Area) finishing with a team-high 20 digs.
- Freshman middle hitter Breanne Byers (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) had a strong match with 12 kills.
Mont Alto 3, Wilkes-Barre 0
- Mont Alto ran out to a 25-10 first set win, competed well edging out Wilkes-Barre 25-22 in the second set and had all the momentum in the third set for the sweep.
- Breanne Byers (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) led the team with a season-best 13 kills on 22 attempts.
- Mont Alto's Katie Muse (Hagerstown, Md. / Boonsboro) recorded 12 service aces in the win.
Mont Alto 3, Scranton 0
- Muse dished out 32 assists and connected on three kills and 11 digs in the sweep over Scranton.
- Courtney Stump (Greencastle, Pa. / Greencastle Antrim) finished with a team-high 13 kills, three aces and defensively finished with 11 digs.
- Kirstyn Black (Saint Thomas, Pa. / James Buchanan) recorded four kills, Breanne Byers (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) had seven, and Rachel Manikowski (Mercersburg, Pa. / James Buchanan) had six.
The Penn State Mont Alto volleyball team returns to action on Wednesday, October 3 in a home match with PSU New Kensington. The match is slated to begin at 7 p.m.
