Penn State Mont Alto 3, Penn State Beaver 0

Penn State Mont Alto volleyball swept Penn State Beaver on Saturday in what was also a preview of the PSUAC quarterfinals, which will take place on Wednesday. The win allowed Penn State Mont Alto to complete a perfect conference regular season with a 12-0 record.

Kylee Gooding led the Mont Alto attack with a team-leading 12 kills on 21 total attack attempts. Gracie Vaughn had nine kills on 14 attempts and Leslie Huckle added seven. Kylie Denlinger provided 31 of the 36 Penn State Mont Alto assists in the match. Brooke Denlinger had three assists and Gabby Baughman had two. On defense, Brooke Denlinger led the Nittany Lions with seven while Cadance Newman provided five. Mackenzie Ginder had one solo block and Kylie Denlinger had four assisted blocks.

For Penn State Beaver, Ramiya White had a team-high six kills on 19 total attack attempts. Breann King had five kills on 22 total attempts. Courtney Simpkins provided 11 of Beaver's 15 assists. Melanie Chuu led Beaver with nine digs and Ramiya White and Jesigga Sigurdardottir each had a solo block.

The quarterfinals of the PSUAC tournament are now set and will take place on Wednesday, October 26 and Thursday, October 27.
