The Mont Alto Cross Country team went on the road this weekend to compete on the course at McDaniel College. Despite the past week of rain and storms, the sun shined for a perfect day to run. The course conditions were wet, muddy and full of gradual hills. Mont Alto took the men's team and one woman to this race. The men placed eighth out of nine teams. It was great competition for the runners considering all of the teams were Division III and this was their first meet of the season. The team will travel to a conference meet at Penn State Wilkes-Barre Saturday September 17th for a 1:00 p.m. race.
