Cross Country travels to Brandywine Invitational

 

Mont Alto Cross Country team traveled to Penn State Brandywine on Saturday to compete in a PSUAC Invitational.  Five runners ran for Mont Alto. 

 

 

"It was good to see improvement in the women runners, Grace Schaefer and Dara Martin both approached the race with more confidence after having run last week," Head Coach Paul Lundy commented.  "I am looking forward to see how much they can improve between now and when we come back here for the PSUAC Championship on October 20th."  The PSUAC Championships are being held at Brandywine's campus on October 20th. 

 

 

Mont Alto men had two runners who were competing in their first meet of the season.  "Mazin Widatalla and Dylan Johnston both ran good races and I am excited to watch them perform over the next couple of meets, now that they have some experience," Coach Lundy adds.  "We had some tough competition but I am pleased with how we ran."  Dawei Ding competed in his second race came in first for Mont Alto and 33rd overall.

 

 

September 29th at the LCC Invitational is the next meet for the Mont Alto Cross Country team.
