Mont Alto had a continual positive growth in their Cross Country team this season, and only proved to keep growing as the team ran in the PSUAC Championship on Saturday at University Park.  Coach Preston had his runners ready to go as he has done thousands of times throughout his coaching career, and his runners couldn't wait to get going.

The entire team ran very well, and had some wonderful finishes.  In the end they also has some great Conference Honors to bring back to Mont Alto. 

In the men's 5.2 mile race Joe Fletcher was 4th with a time of 32:20 and was named First Team All Conference.  James McKeithen was 13th in 35:36 and made Second Team All Conference.  McKeithen was 34th in last years Conference Championships.

In the women's 6000 meter race Martha Baskwill was 7th overall in 28:52 and was named First Team All Conference.  Rachel McMullen finished in 25th place with a time of 35:38.

The team has one more meet at Hood College before heading to Syracuse, NY to take place in the USCAA National Championships.
