TOWSON, Md. – The Penn State Mont Alto women's cross country team participated in the Goucher College Cross Country Classic on Saturday morning.
The freshman pair of Madison Ford (Fayetteville, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) and Lauren Goldberg (Reading, Pa. / Exter Township) posted solid times in the women's 6K race that finished inside Gopher Stadium.
Ford finished 11th with a time of 31:58.45 and Goldberg crossed the finish line in 34:36.63, which was good for a 20th-place finish.
The Mont Alto cross country teams return to action next Saturday, October 13 at the Hood College Invitational.
