Kim Plezia joined the Penn State Mont Alto Department of Athletics in September of 2017. Plezia is an essential member of the day-to-day operations providing support and assistance within the athletic department. She serves as the receptionist and office manager within the department while also focusing heavily on the budget monitoring process, event contracts, payroll reimbursements, she coordinates team travel, and is responsible for Mont Alto's summer sport camps payroll. 

Originally from nearby Hagerstown, Md., Plezia resides in Mercersburg, Pa. and is the mom of daughter Maleigh Palmer who is a teacher in Lebanon. Prior to her employment with Penn State Mont Alto, she spent a little over 10 years as an administrative assistant at Mercersrsburg Academy within their athletic department mainly focusing on summer and extended programs.
