Game Story

• Zach Garlin earned the start in game one of the three game series against Penn State Beaver. He went seven strong innings, striking out ten Penn State Beaver hitters. Garlin allowed two hits on the day. Trystan Housman relieved Garlin, throwing two innings and striking out two.

• The game went scoreless thru three innings until Jared Pine scored Gavin Kissel on a RBI single in the fourth. 

• Penn State Mont Alto scored its second run in the fifth inning on a Tyler Moreland sacrifice fly, plating Brady Bigler.

• Hayden Kissel and Tyler Moreland provided insurance runs in the final frame on RBI doubles. Penn State Mont Alto took a 4-0 lead into the bottom half of the 9th inning
