Penn State Mont Alto will host Penn State Beaver on Saturday 1/28 at 1 and 3 p.m. during its annual 3's for THON game. The event began in 2020, and after a one-year break due to COVID returned in 2022 and now again in 2023. Campuses hold fundraisers at their basketball games, including halftime contests, raffles, donation jars, and other events to raise awareness and money for THON. In its first year, ten PSUAC campuses combined to raise more than $7,000 for their campus THON organizations. Last year that total grew to more than $10,000. 

The initiative, is hosted by the PSUAC Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC). PSUAC SAAC is a conference-wide, student-led organization comprised of student-athletes from each member campus. Student-athlete leaders partner with their campus THON committees to raise awareness and funds at home basketball events.
