Talla scores 28 as Mont Alto remains undefeated in PSUAC

Uniontown, Pa.- Mont Alto men's basketball traveled to Penn State Fayette on Saturday afternoon following a road contest against Penn State Beaver on Friday evening. Veron Talla led Mont Alto in scoring with 28 as Mont Alto won the PSUAC contest 87-66.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
-Down 31-30 with 7:49 in the first half, Mont Alto went on a 9-0 spurt capped off by a Veron Talla layup and a Caleb Eckert three pointer.
-Caleb Eckert and Jonathan Pang each converted on layups late in the first half to extend the lead to 41-23.
-Talla scored 16 of his 28 points in the second half on 7 of 9 shooting from the field.
-Richard Burke scored 12 points in the half as Mont Alto scored Fayette 44-36 in the second half on their way to a 87-66 victory.
