Chambersburg, Pa. – The rain stayed away long enough for the Penn State Mont Alto men's golf team to compete in the Wilson College's Swing Into Spring Invitational this afternoon at the Chambersburg Country Club. The event included Wilson, PSU Mont Alto and the University of Valley Forge.

The Lions fired a team score of 230 to take home first place honors as the host Phoenix finished in second place with a team score of 313. Freshman Tom Shearer took home medalist honors after shooting a one-over par round of 74. Sophomore Austin Green shot a two-over 75, which was good for second. Junior Owen Groft carded an 81, which was good for third place overall.
