UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – After a pair of eight save performances with a shutout against Central Penn College thrown in the middle, Penn State Mont Alto sophomore Austin Moore (Brockway, Pa. / Brockway Area) was selected as the Pennsylvania State University Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week.

Austin Moore (Brockway, Pa. / Brockway Area) stopped eight of the 10 shots he faced against Manor College as the Blue Jays handed Mont Alto it's only loss of the season at 2-0. He then recorded his second shutout of the season including three in the second half in the 1-0 double-overtime victory over Central Penn College.

Moore, who earned his first goalkeeper of the week award of his career, claimed another victory for his team in the 3-2 overtime thriller this past Monday night. He rejected eight of the 11 shots on target as his defense blocked the other in the win over Williamson.

So far this season Moore is sporting a 0.94 goals-against average. Mont Alto (4-1) hosts Penn State Wilkes-Barre on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. for the first conference match of the season.
